Meet Our Guitar Instructor: Rinada Strydom
Rinada Strydom brings a wealth of musical experience and a passion for both classical and contemporary guitar to NW Musikon. While her musical journey began with a Grade 8 in piano and a Grade 5 in pipe organ, it’s the guitar that truly captivates her. Having started at age 13, Rinada recently achieved her Grade 8 diploma in classical guitar.
Her expertise extends beyond classical styles; she’s also a skilled instructor in electric and bass guitar, specializing in the popular Trinity College London Rock & Pop syllabus. This diverse background allows her to connect with and inspire students across various musical genres.
Rinada’s commitment to education is further highlighted by her Higher Education Diploma (1993) with a specialization in Remedial Education and an Honours Degree in Special Needs Education (2017). These qualifications underscore her dedication to providing effective and supportive learning environments for all students.
Mrs. Strydom has been a valued full-time guitar instructor at NW Musikon since 2009.
