Tamaryn’s journey into the world of music began at just 8 years old, quickly blossoming under the guidance of Magda Wilson. She honed her skills early on, achieving her Grade 7 in piano and Grade 6 in music theory from UNISA in 2015.
After graduating high school with a strong musical foundation, Tamaryn dove headfirst into her Bachelor of Music degree. Her studies weren’t just about notes and scales; she immersed herself in musicology, advanced theory, innovative piano methodology, and captivating practical performance. Tamaryn’s dedication led her to refine her piano artistry with renowned mentors like Dr. Truida van der Walt and Dr. Waldo Weyer, and she even graced master classes with international luminaries such as Pamela Mia Paul, David Jalbert, Carolina Oltmann, and Susan Yondt!
Graduating with her Bachelor of Music with distinction in 2019, Tamaryn is now soaring even higher, currently pursuing her Master’s in Music. She joined the NW Musikon family in 2019, bringing her infectious enthusiasm and deep expertise to every lesson.
