Meet Annalize Pretorius: Your Guide to Piano, Rock & Pop, and Marimba!
Get ready to ignite your musical passion with Mrs. Annalize Pretorius, a vibrant and experienced instructor at NW Musikon! Specializing in Piano, Rock & Pop Keyboard, and leading our Marimba program, Annalize’s musical journey began at the age of seven. Under the expert guidance of Eunece van Wyngaardt, she quickly excelled, completing her Grade 6 in organ from UNISA and, the very next year, earning her Grade 8 in piano from UNISA.
Annalize’s dedication to mastering her craft led her to receive master classes from world-renowned virtuosi, including Richard Michaels (ABRSM Jazz Piano), Dr. Jetty van Rensburg (NWU), and Proff. Frank Henegan (Ireland). She went on to achieve her prestigious Performers Licentiate in Piano from the Trinity College of Music, a testament to her exceptional skill and artistry.
Always at the forefront of musical innovation, Annalize attended a dynamic Trinity Rock & Pop workshop presented by Brian Jackson in 2018. She also broadened her expertise by participating in a marimba workshop with Joan Lithgow, and now proudly heads Musikon’s thriving Marimba program!
